Presentation

The Faculty of Sciences of Orsay is a historical component of the University Paris-Saclay, Training and Research Unit which covers the fields of Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Earth Sciences as well as the Study of Sciences and Techniques.
Its premises are located on the Bures-Orsay-Gif campus, in the valley and on the plateau.
The training is organized from the bachelor's degree to the doctorate in 7 bachelor's degrees, 9 double degree licenses, 4 professional bachelor's degrees, 22 master's degrees and participation in 12 doctoral schools.
Excellence in research has been rewarded several times: in mathematics by the Fields medals obtained in 2006 and 2010 by Wendelin Werner and Ngô Bào Châu, and in physics by the Nobel Prize in Physics obtained in 2007 by Albert Fert.
