Master Géomatique parcours SIGMA (ScIences Géomatiques en environneMent et Aménagement)

Course Details

Objectives : The objective of the SIGMA Geomatics Master is to train in environmental and planning professions involving mastery of concepts, methods and techniques related to the management of geographic information: project management, resource management, decision, expertise.

Public concerned : - higher education graduate students,
- Employed people or jobseekers (vocational training)

Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Admission requirements : Pre-selection: student records and interview in front of an examining board.

Prerequisites : a) for M1 entry: candidates must hold a License (bac +3) or equivalent, in particular one of the following (non-exhaustive list): Geography and planning; Life sciences ; Earth Science ; Life and earth sciences ; Computer science ; Engineering Sciences

b) for M2 access:
SIGMA is open to candidates holding one of the following diplomas:
- Master 1 / Master of Geography
- MST and IUP of Planning
- MIAGe
- Engineer's degree in Agronomy, Computer Science or justifying a Bac + 4 level from the Grandes Ecoles d'Ingénieurs
- Other diplomas with a Bac + 4 equivalence validated by the Titles Commission of the authorized establishment.

Candidates who do not hold one of the previous diplomas, but can prove that they have had a professional activity likely to give them an equivalent qualification, may be authorized to register after a decision by the committee for the validation of professional knowledge (VAP).
