Course Details

Objectives : Engineering training is based on scientific knowledge in atmospheric physics and statistics. It develops mastery of scientific calculation and modeling, weather forecasting, knowledge of climate and climate change, pillars of the professions in which we train you. This involves using cutting-edge IT tools.

Throughout your training, you will have a multidisciplinary approach which will allow you to develop your ability to initiate, analyze, criticize and master complex systems.

Admission to engineering training is carried out by different routes, by competitive examination or on application. Depending on your type of recruitment, you can opt for civil or civil servant status. Whatever the status, graduates of the same course hold a single ENM diploma.

Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Acquired skills during the training : 3rd year training:
“Services Météo-climatiques – weather and climate services” course
Big Data course (in partnership with ENSEEIHT Applied Maths department)
Sustainable Development course (I3D in partnership with Toulouse INP)
Environmental Studies course (M2 SOAC mention EE in partnership with the UPS)
Statistics course (INSA) or Hydrology (ENSEEIHT) or Ministry Schools

Notes : Possibility of having a double diploma (according to agreements with the ENM): this is the opportunity to complete a course in another engineering school (schools of the INP group, schools attached to the Ministry of Ecological Transition and solidarity)
A Master 2: for example M2 SOAC (Ocean, atmospheric and climate sciences), GERINAT (Territorial risk management)…

Partnerships with national organisations : Université de Toulouse, INP de Toulouse, ENSG, Ecole des Ponts ParisTech...
