Course Details

Objectives : Co-accredited with Le Mans University, the professional license in Construction Professions: Public Works, specialty in Geo-measurements and planning is a training course that meets new needs in the fields of regional planning and the environment.

The training is followed alternating with periods of training (courses, tutorials, practical work, projects) at ESGT and at university and periods in a company.

The training is organized around the following lessons:

Mathematics, physics,
Geodesy – topography,
Geosciences,
Written expression,
Quarry exploitation project,
Operational development project,
GIS & cartography,
Development,
Applied geology,
Geotech,
Technical English,
Internship in a company.

Public concerned : The professional license is open to bac +2 level students coming from a wide variety of backgrounds:

L2 Earth and Environmental Sciences,
BTS Surveyor-topographer,
BTS Professions of surveyor-topographer and digital modeling,
BTS or DUT Applied geology, public works or civil engineering.

Degree Level (EU) : 6 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Targeted careers : The targeted professions are located in the sectors of large construction sites, regional planning (public works, roads, various networks, etc.), the exploitation of useful substances or even in the field of natural risks (except hydrological) . Within these large areas, different jobs are accessible, such as:

Laboratory technician (aggregates, road geotechnics),
Environmental technician,
Surveyor technician, expert surveyor collaborator,
Responsible for land studies and development,
Site manager,
Topographer.
