Course Details

Objectives : - Acquire the basics of Geographic Information Systems
- Acquire an initial practice of GIS software (Arcgis for Desktop 10.5)
- Manipulate geographic data.
- Create maps

Public concerned : Public or private sector personnel with spatial data visualization and manipulation needs.

Prerequisites : knowledge of the Windows environment and basic manipulations on spreadsheets.
No prior knowledge of GIS.

Duration and terms : 2 days or 12 hours of training (9 a.m.-12 p.m./1:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m.)
