Course Details

Objectives : Acquire basic principles in Geostatistics: the main interpolation methods (Splines, IDW, Kriging), reminders on basic statistical methods.

Develop and apply spatial analysis approaches, in order to measure the degrees of correlation between the spatial distributions of several parameters at the same time.

Public concerned : This training is aimed at professionals who need to use spatial data (geomatics specialists, study managers, territorial engineers, researchers, town planners, etc.) wishing to go beyond the construction of maps using simple concepts of geostatistics.

Prerequisites : Connaître les principes de base en SIG, être familiarisé à la manipulation de données. La prise en main du logiciel R ne nécessite aucun pré-requis particulier. Une initiation aux logiciels R et Rstudio est prévue en début de formation.
