LP Aménagement et gestion des ressources en eau (AGREau)

Course Details

Objectives : The Professional License Environmental protection and management professions, Course: "Water Resources Planning and Management" - LP AGREau - aims to train managers in the water sector who know how to carry out a project in its technical, human, accounting, administrative and legal components. Combining knowledge and know-how in the fields of science and water law, the holder of the LP AGREau participates in the protection of natural resources at various points in the water cycle. He can access jobs in local authorities, administrations, development companies, inter-municipal unions, design offices, or in the industrial sector.
The mastery of multidisciplinary knowledge (chemistry, hydrobiology, hydraulics, public accounting, cartography, law) leads holders of the professional license to occupy positions of responsibility in the various water professions: sanitation, drinking water, water management. water, land use planning.

Degree Level (EU) : 6 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Admission requirements : Admission to the training (20 places) is made on file, after a possible interview, and is intended for students with a Bac + 2 level diploma (L2 Sciences and Technologies, L2 Geography and Planning, DUT, BTS ...). It is possible to follow the "classic" initial training, but also by apprenticeship, in a professionalization contract or in continuing training, or to obtain the diploma by Validation of Acquired Experience (VAE).

Acquired skills during the training : The graduates thus have dual competence in the technical and legal-accounting fields of water management and protection. They also master computer communication (ICT) and Geographic Information System (GIS) tools and can:
- control the collection, treatment and distribution of drinking water, to ensure the supply of populations;

- manage the collection networks and the treatment of wastewater and rainwater, in order to protect the natural environment;
- develop a watershed to preserve water uses and control natural risks;
- communicate with local authorities and coordinate actions related to water;
- lead, advise and assist technical teams.

The Water Resources Development and Management course - LP AGREau - which aims to train managers in the water sector who know how to lead a project in its technical, human, accounting, administrative and legal components.

The Biology applied to exploited ecosystems (BAEE) course which aims to train naturalists with a solid foundation in biology (level L2) in modern techniques of ecological engineering and decision-making tools to ensure management, promotion or animation of natural spaces within the framework of sustainable development.
