La sensibilité des géo-données - Valorisation de géo-données privées, une affaire de sensibilité ?

Course Details

Objectives : With the democratization of geolocation systems and the rise of the Internet of Things, individuals and companies have become major producers of strategic geolocated data for the development of services, whether commercial or not. However, the methods of collecting, storing, processing and disseminating this data raise questions, even concerns, both for citizens wishing to preserve their privacy and for professionals concerned with protecting their interests. Depending on the contexts and regulations, geographic data may be considered sensitive.

How to characterize the sensitivity of these data? What potential and what obstacles to the exploitation and enhancement of geolocated data? In what ways does the sensitivity of geodata question the practice of geomaticians? The examples presented during the geoseminar will highlight the solutions (technical, legal, governance, etc.) that the project leaders have been able to develop.
