Course Details

Objectives : Training allowing the exercise of medical expertise of aircrew after approval by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation (Class 2 Pilots and Commercial Aircrew).

Public concerned : Bac +9 doctor of medicine. Holders of a medical degree allowing practice in the candidate's country of origin or of origin as well as nationals of a Member State of the European Union once they have completed and validated all of the their medical studies.

Derogation authorized: holders of a Specialized Studies Diploma as long as they imperatively defend their thesis before December 1 of the year of registration.

Prerequisites : Probationary examination:

Any registration for a medical capacity is subject to passing a probationary examination comprising written tests and an interview.

Medical doctors with at least 3 years of professional practice may be exempted from the written tests of the probationary exam on the proposal of the Director of Education (enclosing proof of the employer).

Duration and terms : The teaching is organized over a year, in the form of 6 blocked periods of 2 days.
