Objectives : As a young expert you will receive a scientific and practice-oriented education in the fields of photogrammetry, remote sensing and geoinformation science in addition to your professional background. An important objective is the transfer of up-to-date techniques into practice under different technological conditions. The course is designed in particular for future decision-makers and senior engineers of information and land management projects, national authorities for mapping, photogrammetry, land consolidation, forestry, agriculture, environment, rural or urban planning.
Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)
Admission requirements : Bachelor or equivalent
Prerequisites : Bachelor in civil Engineering, Geodesy, Geography, Agriculture, Forestry or corresponding degree of other professions appying geodata or spatial related technologies.
Verification of proficiency is required for English Language (e.g. by TOEFEL 550 or equivalent proof)
Targeted careers : You will be prepared for the work as decision maker or chief engineer of information and land management projects, national authorities for photogrammetry, cartography, land consolisation, cadastre, forestry, agriculture, rural and urban planning or environmental monitoring and every other application field of geoinformatics, photogrammetry and remote sensing.
Duration and terms : 3 semesters
Notes : The course is tripartite in two semesters consisting of lectures, practices and examinations and a third semester of 6 month's full-time research work presented in a master thesis.
