Master mention MIAGE parcours-type Ingénierie des Données et Apprentissage (IDA)

Course Details

Objectives : Following the rise of massive data (“big data”), companies are currently faced with the multiplication of heterogeneous internal and external data. This context induces a new management of organizations which results in the development of data-driven companies (“Data Driven Companies”). These organizations are now seeking to use the data at their disposal to guide their strategy and development.

The objective of the IDA (Data Engineering and Learning) standard course is to train executives to support these companies in their management based on new analytical technologies. More precisely, this course provides both data-oriented and machine learning skills. From a data point of view, the objective is to be able to manage the entire data cycle (integration, modeling, management of large and heterogeneous data, querying and analyses) as well as its governance (meta modeling, data quality, etc.) . From a machine learning point of view, the objective is to master different models and to offer companies the model best suited to their needs while guaranteeing its quality. They will be required to take charge of information system computerization projects, from the definition of needs to their implementation, in a highly evolving context. The societal aspect of data processing will also be at the heart of the master's degree with courses in ethics (data and processing) and Green IT.

Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Acquired skills during the training : The IDA standard course of the MIAGE Master provides the theoretical bases and technological skills enabling you to:
- Evaluate the needs and implications of new IT solutions, identify possible methods and standards within the framework of data-oriented management; Understand and apply methodologies, tools and processes for managing projects
- Define the IT solutions best suited to user needs; Design and develop an application conforming to the required specifications by selection or proposal of software architectures
- Define a data governance policy; develop data-oriented applications regardless of the technological environment; Manage an organization's data and its provision
- Design, develop, qualify and explain machine learning models

Targeted careers : The IDA standard course of the MIAGE Master trains high-level executives located at the interface of data-centric technologies and management and organization who can carry out the following functions:
Chief Data Officer, Data Manager, Data Architect, Data Stewart,
Big Data Engineer, Big Data Architect,
Data analyst, Machine Learning Engineer,
Design Engineer, Analyst Engineer, Information Systems Engineer.
