It is offered in partnership with Sorbonne University and the grandes écoles of the Paris region in the second year of a master's. It covers the entire data production chain (orbitography, wave propagation, radiative transfer, data and image processing, physical modeling and applications). It allows students to pursue a doctorate in geophysics, environmental sciences or applied sciences in a public or private research laboratory. It also offers them the possibility of entering the job market directly.
Public concerned : Students or people in activity or job search (continuing education)
Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)
Admission requirements : M1: level L3 geosciences, physics, mathematics
M2: level M1 geosciences, physics, mathematics, 2nd year of engineering school, engineering degree
The course is open to continuing education and validation of prior learning (VAE)
Targeted careers : In high-tech companies in the space and telecommunications sector (startup, SME or large industrial group):
The Fundamentals of remote sensing course leads to the professions of teacher, teacher-researcher, researcher; R&D engineer, system engineer, software development engineer; project manager, consultant, manager, sales manager.
