Bachelor en Intelligence Artificielle (IA)

Course Details

Objectives : Artificial Intelligence (AI) is at the heart of technological and industrial transformations across various sectors.

To address this challenge and the growing needs of businesses, the University of Technology of Troyes (UTT) offers a Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence, a professional training program designed to develop professionals capable of working across the entire lifecycle of AI projects, from data collection and analysis to the deployment of AI solutions, while integrating ethical, regulatory, and environmental considerations.

The Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a multidisciplinary program lasting six semesters, with the third year taking place as an apprenticeship and offering the possibility of specialization.

The Bachelor's program in AI is part of the Hi!Paris AI Cluster (https://www.hi-paris.fr), which brings together the Institut Polytechnique de Paris (École Polytechnique, ENSTA, ENSAE, ENPC, Télécom Paris, and Télécom SudParis), the CNRS, INRIA, HEC Paris, and the University of Technology of Troyes. It benefits from the shared resources of this cluster, whose creation was announced on May 21, 2024, and which aims to become a global leader in AI.

Specialized Track
Each student follows a specialized track in computer science, data science, and AI:

Subjects: computer science, mathematics for data science, programming, AI, machine learning, visualization techniques…

General subjects: foreign language, written and oral communication, project management, data law, AI law, social responsibility, sustainability…

Programm: The three-year program comprises nearly 1,500 hours of lectures, tutorials, practical work, and projects, including over 600 hours dedicated to Machine Learning and AI, and 400 hours to programming and coding. Throughout your studies, you will also be introduced to data rights and the societal and environmental challenges of AI.

Degree Level (EU) : 6 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Admission requirements : Recruitment for the first year is done via Parcoursup for holders of a general baccalaureate (having taken the mathematics or computer science option).

Clear and transparent academic recognition: The program is accredited by the CTI (Commission des Titres d'Ingénieur) and awards a national degree equivalent to a Bachelor's degree.
