Objectives : Upon completion of the training, participants will be able to:
- Analyze the technological developments of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) for new mobility applications
- Identify the opportunities and limitations of ITS
- Define a communication architecture capable of ensuring session continuity for applications embedded in vehicles and enabling them to integrate into smart city ecosystems
- Identify communication architecture standards for intelligent transportation systems
- Explain satellite navigation (GNSS) and its applications in land transportation
- Understand the limitations of satellite positioning systems
Public concerned : Telecom technicians and engineers, all personnel (technicians, engineers) needing to acquire general knowledge in a technical field of telecommunications and/or networks, professionals from technical departments, design offices, research and development (R&D) departments in transport and mobility services, elected officials of local authorities, organizing authorities for sustainable mobility, mobility service managers, road and rail transport operators, telecommunications operators.
Prerequisites : Basic technical knowledge, telecommunications and internet skills are desirable in order to fully benefit from the training.
