Objectives : The learning objectives are designed to empower students to connect the theoretical concept of development with indicators and operational models of regional development, to enable students to understand the concepts of sustainability from the phenomena of unsustainability. The aim is to move from a perspective that became markedly idealistic and ideological to a posture that is based on reflections and interpretations of actual events and enable students to begin to understand the territory of different disciplinary perspectives - economic, environmental, engineering and planning - so not only design strategies and integrated and integrative policies but also to identify the scientific issue whose outcome adds value to the sustainable development of people and places.

Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)
Admission requirements : BSc.
May apply to the 2nd cycle of studies: a) degree holders of the Lic. degree in Biology, Agricultural Sciences, Economy, Environment and Territorial Regional Planning, or in a related field, or legally equivalent qualifications; b) holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum vitae that is recognized by the Scientific Council as attesting to the capacity to carry out this cycle of studies
Targeted careers : Consultant in the areas of territorial planning, agri-environmental policy, rural development, environmental impact assessment, air quality and sound environment; Manager of protected areas, water resources, solid waste, waste water and water supply, pollution control systems and energy resources; Researcher and evaluator of nature management and conservation projects.
