Do you want to become a specialist in environmental geography capable of understanding complex research or societal questions relating to the development and management of natural and man-made areas along the coast?
This master is for you.
In this multidisciplinary training, you will acquire a broad vision of the environment of coastal systems, while remaining a specialist in geography.
Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)
Admission requirements : For the master 1: it is advisable to have a Bac + 3 level or equivalent in geography, planning, human and social sciences.
Acquired skills during the training : At the end of the training, you will know
Bring, in a given professional environment, theoretical and practical knowledge in physical and human geography of the coast.
Carry out in collaboration with actors an environmental diagnosis on a given litto-maritime territory.
Evaluate a given project or public policy.
Contribute to the design, implementation and implementation of environmental management and territorial planning policies in various fields (tourism development, land use planning, environmental protection, natural risk management, adaptation to climate change , etc.)
Reach, in English, level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, both in comprehension and in expression, written and oral, in order to allow spontaneous interactions in the English language.
Present and synthesize scientific or technical results, orally and in writing, respecting the standardized formats in force in the fields of ecology, geosciences, geography or management sciences.
Conduct environmental projects independently, within multidisciplinary working groups.
Develop a holistic and multidisciplinary vision of environmental issues.
Structure and process geographic information using current cartomatic, statistical and geomatics software.
