Objectives : The MSc BIHAR aims to train experts in artificial intelligence and Big Data, capable of designing, developing, and optimizing technological solutions that meet business needs.
The MSc BIHAR focuses on:
• Mastering Big Data technologies: storing, processing, and leveraging massive datasets,
• Expertise in artificial intelligence: developing, deploying, and optimizing AI models for practical applications,
• Acquiring transferable skills.
Through project-based learning, the program prepares graduates to meet tomorrow's technological challenges and contribute to innovation in diverse contexts.
Public concerned : The program is delivered full-time over one year, making it ideal for students wishing to specialize in data and AI. It may also be suitable for professionals seeking career changes or further specialization.
Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)
Admission requirements : Candidates must provide proof of a diploma or a minimum M1 level (BAC+4), equivalent to level 6 RNCP, in a discipline in line with the main focus of the training.
Prerequisites : Knowledge of mathematics, computer science, and data science is well-suited for this training. This could include skills acquired through an engineering degree, or a four- or five-year university degree.

• Data Preparation and Processing
• Design and Development of Machine Learning/Deep Learning Models, and Performance Improvement
• Deployment of AI Solutions

Targeted careers : The MSc BIHAR program trains experts capable of holding strategic positions in the fields of artificial intelligence and big data. The primary career path is that of Artificial Intelligence Engineer, a professional capable of designing, developing, integrating, and optimizing systems based on artificial intelligence models, tailored to the specific needs of businesses and compliant with applicable regulations.
Depending on the needs of the companies involved, the role of an AI engineer can be performed in various ways, focusing on specific stages of the machine learning pipeline.
Key Job Titles
• Data Scientist, capable of analyzing big data and training high-performance AI models tailored to business needs,
• Data Engineer, capable of managing big data infrastructures and creating data pipelines to feed AI models,
• DevOps/MLOps Engineer, capable of automating the development, integration, and deployment cycles of AI solutions.
Duration and terms : 700 hours, over 1 year.
90 ECTS credits.
The training takes place at ESTIA in Bidart (64), in person.
